What conditions should receive urgent care?

Same-day appointments are available for:

• A cut or wound requiring stitches or sutures
• Treatment and/or prescriptions for colds or flu
• Diagnosis and prescriptions for urinary tract infections or bladder infections
• Asthma attack or difficulty breathing
• High fever
• Nausea/vomiting, prolonged diarrhea, or dehydration
• Sprains
• Swelling resulting from an injury, bite, or infection
• Ear infections
• Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

If someone is unconscious, has possible broken bones, is bleeding profusely, experiencing seizures or convulsions, has a neck or back injury, or is experiencing chest pain, then calling 911 or going to the nearest hospital emergency room is the safest course of action. Severe burns and pregnancy complications should also be treated at the hospital, as well as concussions or slurred speech.
